In addition to being familiar with emergency policies, SPU students and employees should also be aware of the following resources that are related to individual safety and security:
- The Office of Safety and Security website contains information about fire safety, crime prevention, intimate partner violence, and other topics that are relevant to promoting campus safety and security.
- The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR) is published each year by October 1 in accordance with a federal law known as the “Clery Act.” The ASFSR contains detailed information regarding campus security policies and procedures, as well as crime and fire statistics for campus properties.
- The Nondiscrimination/Title IX website states SPU’s policy on nondiscrimination and lists information and resources regarding sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and other forms of sexual misconduct.
